Well, half the year's already gone. Hope you all had a great summer and Fourth of July.

I thank God for the freedoms we have in this country. However, we also need to pray for

this country's leaders because they're leading our nation as a whole in the wrong direction

morally. We need to really pray for them and the Christians all over the world that are

suffering for the cause of Christ. Jesus said that we will all suffer for Him, but also that He

has overcome the world. Let's encourage each other to show Christ's love to those that truly

need it. I have put a new song that I wrote on YouTube. It's called, "You Are In Control."

Check it out when you have a chance. Here's

the link: www.youtube.com/robertnewstrand. Click on "You Are In Control" video or if it

has an Sxxxxx number, you can click on it, as well. I haven't written in my blog for a few

months. I am sorry about that. I was really busy finishing up the spring semester and

looking for a part-time job I can work in the summer and part-time throughout the

upcoming semesters while I am in college. I still haven't found one, yet. I'll just keep

looking and praying for one. You all are welcome to pray for me and/or maybe refer me

to a job if you know a company who is hiring. The internet is not much helpful at all. Oh,

well. Blessings to you today. Do pray as well for the peace of Jerusalem and for their

Prime Minister to make the right decisions for Israel. I'll do the same.

It's 2009 and today is St. Patrick's Day. So, a happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you.

I cannot help, but think about how St. Patrick told the Gospel to the people of Ireland. For

instance, St. Patrick used a very common small green flower - a 3-leaf clover - to tell the

people of Ireland the Trinity of God -- God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy

Spirit. Notice that there are three parts in one clover. That's the same with the three forms

of God. So, something for us all to apply to our witness. This website is a great tool to

present the Gospel to hurting people. I really hope that someone will read this blog or this

website and give his or her heart and life to Jesus Christ. Another way to look at this

concept is water's three forms. We all know that water exists in three forms - a solid, a

liquid, and a gas. There are three forms of water, but in each form, the basic chemical

structure is the same -- H2O! Isn't it amazing how God made water to be of that chemical

formula and a 3-leaf clover to represent the three forms of God. God made both water and

the clover to display the same concept! I hope you can use these very tools in your witness

to others that don't know Him, and encourage others that do know Him, as well as those

whom have walked or drifted away from Him. Well, may God bless you and have a

wonderful day and week of school, work, and anything else you do. "...do it all for the

glory of God," the Bible says. Blessings to you today.

This is my first entry in the staff blog for the SFM. So, here goes. I can't

believe the year is almost over!! 2008 is almost here!! So, I would like to wish

all of you a very Happy New Year 2008!

Anyways, God is really blessing our ministry this year, our first year in

operation!! We're trying to get the issues out on time, so I'm not sure when

Issue 6 is coming out, but we'll let you know once it comes out. We will strive

to get each issue out on time this year. That's kind of our immediate goal for

this year, our New Year's Resolution, so to speak. I am hoping to attempt to be

more involved in the Magazine this upcoming year. Well, I hope you all have a

wonderful New Year and God bless you richly in the upcoming year!!

Hope all of you had a great new year! It is springtime, now, and for people

like me, it's allergy season. My allergies were delayed a couple of weeks, but

they have started for me. We are still working on getting the issues out on

time, but we have picked up a good bit, now, in that area.

God has really blessed us and our ministry so far this year, and we've been

only through the first quarter of the year. A public high school in Ponce De Leon

wanted copies of our magazine for their students to use in their English classes.

This is a great tool to share the gospel to those high school students at the

same time as helping them learn to recognize verbals, adjectives, interjections,

etc. and the sentence structure, run-on sentences, and other English techniques

to help them with this life (career, etc). I hope to be more involved with the

magazine and/or get in a praise team at my church in the summer to either play

the guitar or the keys (keyboard).

I've been pretty busy with school that I haven't written an entry so far this

year until now. Sorry about that. There are some classes that I haven't been

doing particularly well in them, even though I did some studying...hehe. It's

hard to concentrate sometimes studying or in class, so it is very important that

we pray especially in those times. Testing isn't my forte, so to speak. It is

important to pray during those times of trouble, like tests or persecution for the

Faith that we have in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. However, don't forget to

"pray without ceasing" -- even in the good and pleasant times. Many people

forget God when they are in the good times, but when they are hit hard in the

bad times, they all of a sudden pray to God. Therefore, we cannot forget to pray

in the good times, as well. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He said that in

His Word! You are never alone in Christ. I feel alone sometimes, but I know that

I am never alone. Have a wonderful day full of the Holy Spirit, and many

blessings to you all!
