The Public Speaking Ministry

The Public Speaking Ministry is simply a group of people who are available to speak at churches, as requests come in.  They will speak about God-centered topics and pre-approved subject matter, as God leads.  We also prefer that some of them speak at our purity conference in the fall.  Speakers can also sign on to travel and represent the ministry at various churches.

Our Speakers:

Lesley & Ryan Ray.  Lesley & Ryan speak about sexual purity and why marriage is worth the wait.  They were also speakers at After His Heart 2008, the purity conference we sponsored in November.  Lesley & Ryan are a young Christian couple who have been married several years and give advice to young people struggling against their culture.  (Lesley talks to girls, Ryan to guys.)  They have answered quite a few questions for me (Victoria) and my friends, and because of their advice, I am more satisfied with waiting until marriage, because I know there are rewards.

Victoria Crow.   Victoria speaks about a number of different topics related to the Christian life and a relationship with God.  She was also a speaker at After His Heart.  Victoria is the editor of Spoken For Magazine and frequently works with youth at her church and school.  God has given her a unique gift for connecting with and discipling young people.  She especially enjoys speaking about what a relationship with God is.

 

How It Works:

People contact Spoken For Magazine and ask for a speaker (sometimes they request specific ones) to come to their church, school, youth group, or student club.  SFM puts the inquirers in touch with the appropriate speakers.
